Our 2009 - 2010 Program
We
would like to extend an invitation to you and your family to be
part of our upcoming 2010 - 2011 program. Our program schedule
will be available in late August/early September.
At our events, we address the challenges and opportunities
particular to family businesses and demonstrate the value of
connecting with family business peers and professional advisors
to meet both business and personal goals. One of our more
popular features at each event is a local Family Business
Profile, where an informal presentation is made by a local
family business.

Working in a Family Business: a Non- Family Member Perspective -
Monday May 31, 2010
Working within a family business environment presents its
own challenges for the non-family employee. Our guest speaker,
Andy Hunt grew up in Peterborough and is now President and COO
of one of the largest Canadian family-owned businesses, Day
& Ross General Freight, part of the McCain family business.
Visiting from Hartland New Brunswick, Andy will cover the pros
and cons of being a non-family member working in a family
business, as well as talk about the company's recovery from the
economic downturn.
